LifeCity Church//Canberra is about being a Real People serving the Real God in Real Life. So often the church has become a place of ‘plastic fantastics’. We believe that God has called us as we are, to become what he is crafting us into. Crew at LifeCity come from many different backgrounds both culturally and experientially (with over 25 languages spoken with people from all around the world). Mums, Singles, Couples, Professionals, Uni Students, Youth, familes, and more.
LifeCity Church Canberra gathers to encourage one another, to laugh, to share stories, to connect, to raise one voice, and to open up the Bible and hear teaching that changes the way we live.
People at church also come from all across the City from Belconnen and Gunghalin in the North, Tuggeranong in the South, Queanbeyan, Weston Creek and Woden Valley. Thus we have small groups (Life Communities) in or developing in most areas of Canberra.

We have two Sunday geographic locations in Canberra, in the Civic (Canberra City) and in Kambah, Tuggeranong. (We are also in the early stages of launching in the North in Belconnen in 2012).

Our City Sunday services are held at our city venue 'The Loft', 35 East Row, Civic (opposite the IGA) There will be connections crew to make sure you don't get lost. (Parking is at 176 London Circuit, Canberra City - just on the corner across from East Row)
Our parking is not directly at the Church venue but on the corner across from East Row.

If you are using GPS to find us then type in 176 London Circuit, Canberra City as this will take you to the carpark, otherwise your GPS will lead you down a Bus only lane. Unfortunately you cannot park or drive directly to the front door of Church (it is in the Interchange Bus only area)

Our Southside gathering is at 9:27am at the new Namadgi School*, Village Performing Arts Centre, 141 O'Halloran Circuit, Kambah. There is plenty of parking.

What to Expect
Community is our heart and nature, even 'at church' we love to hang out. Our services are structured but casual with great food and coffee and time to connect. We believe in the significance of community and food helps (don’t worry there is also healthy stuff in their as well).
Our Pastors Josh and Ange Reading come from a background as Kids/Youth Pastors and have three young children (see their profile), so as a church we love kids. We have a great program (LifeCity Kidz) focused primarily on kids under 10 but whatever their age they will have a ball. As we grow (and of course as the kids grow) our program and its reach will also constantly extend. We are sure your kids will have a great time! Our leaders will give 100% of their care while making it a fun experience to learn about lessons from the Bible.
We also have an area set up for feeding mums and young bubs (and Mothers Group during the week)
As a young church our music style is lively and passionate; get into it or sit back and 'soak it up'. We love music because it is the language of the soul.
Josh (our Lead Pastor) is our primary preacher/teacher and has a style that is relational and real. He is enthused about the Bible and what God wants for the lives of his people. (Cue Deut 6:23 Then He brought us out from there, that He might bring us in, to give us the land of which He swore to our fathers")
At LifeCity Church, we believe in the word spoken both with relevance and conviction, never compromising the counsel of God. It is the word that is the foundation of everything we do in life.
Sermons at LifeCity Church operate under a number of different methologies from Topical to Book series. We do not hold any methodology to be sacred, the word itself preached with clarity, in its context and with conviction is our heart and intent.
